Presentations by Dr. Clarence Bayne, H. Nigel Thomas, and Tyrone Benskin as part of the Quebec English-Speaking Communities Research Network (QUESCREN) forum entitled “Minority Community Vitality Through Education” held from October 28th – 30th 2018 at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
Moderated by Dr. Uzma Jamil, Bayne, Thomas, and Benskin discuss the lack of representation of People of Colour with an emphasis on Black Canadians in Québec’s history curriculum. They also discuss immigration, the importance of the arts in bringing to the forefront alternative narratives and much more.
