Changing Attitudes and Mindets for Re-Imagining English-Speaking Quebec and Making Positive Change
Presentations by Dr. Bronwen Low, John Commins, and Janine Matellic as part of the Quebec English-Speaking Communities Research Network (QUESCREN) forum entitled “Minority Community Vitality Through Education” held from October 28th – 30th 2018 at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
Moderated by Dr. Paul Zanazanian, this Town Hall explores the importance of education in identity construction for English-Speaking students in Québec, rap as a valuable form of expression, the importance of revitalizing English-speaking communities in Québec and much more.
This event is structured as a Town Hall, where more time is allocated to the audience members to ask questions, discuss minority language issues more broadly, and reflect on the conference as a whole.
