Ingredients
1/2 cup Grits (Red Mill Polenta Corn Grits)
3/4 cup Water
Chopped Bellpepper
Chopped Onion
Minced Garlic
1 can Lump Crab
1/2 lb shrimp
2 tsp Butter (Vegan Miyoko)
2-4 tbspn Milk (Vegan Hemp Milk)
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 avocado
Dash of Cayenne Papper
Step 1: Chop bellpepper, onion, and mushrooms. Add to frying pan with melted butter and minced garlic. Season vegetables with black pepper, garlic powder, and/or seasoning of choice.
Step 2: In a bowl, season shrimp with garlic powder and seasoing of choice. Add to frying pan with vegetables. Sautee until shrimp are cooked through.
Step 3: Add lump crab meat into frying pan. Stir and simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Step 4: In a bowl, wash grits until water is no longer foggy and add pepper and garlic powder. Place in microwave for 3 minutes.
Step 5: Add butter and milk to grits. Stir and return to microwave for additional 1-3 minutes. Continue to add milk and butter and microwave 1-3 minutes until desired thickness is achieved.
Step 6: Plate grits. Add Shrimp and Crab sautee on top of bed of grits. Slice avocado on top. Sprinkle a dash of cayenne pepper and enjoy!
